Sometimes a hacker gains control of a hosting account by reading the database password — often after exploiting a weakness in a script on a customer's site. With that password, they usually get full access to the account.
Use a separate database password
You can make this much harder by choosing a separate password for the database server. We see many hackers give up when they hit that barrier.
